The Jaguar Mark II sedan was a useful and elegant update of the company’s first small unibody sedan, the Mark I of 1955. With the success of the Honda Prelude SH, Integra Type-R, and the NSX, Honda was looking to reel in the 1990s with one of the most successful generations of sports cars ever built. Then in 1999 came the Honda S2000… The cherry on top of what was already a perfect triple-layer cake. The S2000 set a new benchmark for any roadster built after it with the 1st-Gen AP1 engine bringing 237HP, with a 6-speed transmission, and a curb weight of, 2,756 lbs. Flashy specs and all but the best part about the S2000 AP1 was its 8800RPM redline and the 2.2 L AP2 engine at 8200 RPM. The Honda S2000 remains on the list of cars that has never and may never depreciate… As long as Honda doesn’t make another run of S2000s. (Holding our breath)

This particular car is a 2004 Honda S2000 AP2 roadster in Suzuka blue with a blue interior and only 80,000 miles on the odometer. The owner, Chris has big plans for this car but Colin disagrees with his intentions. Will Colin’s appraisal convince the owner to keep the car as is? Tune in and find out.

It’s fitting that we would be a the Lyon Air Museum in Irvine, CA with Carroll Shelby’s history with planes to review this car. The aluminum planes may dwarf the aluminum car but it fits in nicely anyways. On this season finale of The Appraiser, Colin’s appraising THREE wildly different cars. First up? An Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce. Will this well-loved and often enjoyed Italian sports car have Colin saying “Ciao Bella,” or “Dio Mio?” Next is a Gen IV Dodge Viper that had a little bump and grind in its past, but is still out there shooting venom in coast-to-coast high-speed events. Does using a Supercar as intended hurt the value or increase its appeal to some? And finally, Colin gets to check out an over-the-top custom GT2-style build of a Porsche 993 Turbo. Will he be charmed by its curb appeal and potential for blinding speed or will its extensive modifications and new lack of AWD scare our favorite Wisconsinite?

Like always, Colin’s got the answers to these questions and a lot more. Join him as he digs in to arrive at a value for both cars and then shares them with the owners. Will they agree with him? Will you? Sound off in the comments section and let Colin know!

On this episode of The Appraiser, Colin’s appraising a Chevrolet Camaro “ZL1” Clone that isn’t as polished on the inside as it is on the outside- and that may make Colin’s final number lose its luster with the owner. There’s also a Porsche 930 Turbo that was turned up all the way to 11 back in the day, with an Andial-built engine, period-correct fuzz busters, and more. Will its incorrect purple paint job cause this car to be pulled over on its race up the valuation chart by Officer Comer?

As usual, Colin’s got the answers to these questions and a lot more. Join him as he digs in to arrive at a value for both cars and then shares them with the owners. Will they agree with him? Will you? Sound off in the comments section and let Colin know!

On this episode of “The Appraiser,” Colin’s appraising a 1993 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra with only 500 miles on it and one of the original “Rent-A-Racers”: a 1966 Shelby GT 350 Hertz.

Is the owner of this peak Fox-Body Mustang SVT Cobra smart for leaving it factory fresh in the wrapper or would peeling the stickers and laying some rubber not hurt its value? Is the owner of the Hertz GT350 being foolish for not making it just as it was in ’66, or should he just keep on keepin’ on? As usual, Colin’s got the answers to these questions and a lot more. Join him as he digs in to arrive at a value for both cars and then shares them with the owners. Will they agree with him? Do you? Sound off in the comments section and let Colin know!

On this episode of The Appraiser, Colin checks out a just-off-the-lot 2020 Ford Shelby GT 350R Heritage Edition, as well as a hot-rodded 1987 Buick Grand National GNX that definitely isn’t as new. Will the owner of the GT 350 regret paying over MSRP for his flat-plane crank canyon carver or will he be pleasantly surprised by the market? Will the GNX with some (relatively) serious miles and mods on it do as well as the owner hopes or will Colin be making a correction to the owner’s way of thinking? On this episode of “The Appraiser,” Colin’s taking a look at an Alfa Romeo that’s been with the owner for years that is reliable and rust-free! He’s also poking around a Ford Mustang GT “K-code,” that’s been a part of one man’s family for a long, long time, with the exception of a short vacation. Will Colin find any issues with the Alfa or will it be more a prima vista, love at first sight? Will Colin think that the K-code is worthy of family heirloom status or will he suggest that it be traded in on an Explorer instead?

On this episode of The Appraiser, it’s two different ways to go slow with style as Colin Comer appraises a minuscule Fiat 500-based Abarth 695 racer and a freshly restored Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. The rare Abarth was found in Italy and dragged home by its owner, will Colin’s number make him want to sell? The FJ40 was restored by its Land Cruiser fluent owner with the hopes of hitting it big at auction, is his expectation of hammer price realistic or crazy? As always Colin has the answer to both of these questions.

On this episode of The Appraiser, Colin Comer appraises an original 1969 double COPO Camaro and a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1. This Camaro is just 1 of 1,015 COPO “9561” cars built in 1969, but what makes this particular car so special is that it’s a ‘Berger” Chevrolet car. Berger Chevrolet ordered 40 COPO cars with the additional 9737 sports car conversion package, which is now known as a “double COPO” car. The owner bought the car on his 21st birthday in 1969 and has owned it ever since, how much has it increased in price? The 1969 Mustang Mach 1 was brought in by a young man, Sean McLaine, who spent his childhood riding around in this car. This car is what you would call a driver. It has been driven on the Copperstate 1000 so it has some flaws here and there, what does that mean for its value?

The Dino was bought by its owner not so long ago for a big price — is it still worth what he paid? The Cobra was bought a long time ago and the owner recently turned down a huge profit- was it the smartest move? As always Colin has the answer to both of these questions.

On this episode of The Appraiser, Colin appraises a 50th Anniversary Pontiac Trans-Am that’s never been restored and an Aston Martin DB4that has been *fully* restored and looks like it. So yes, while the Bandit didn’t drive a 1976 Trans-Am (it was a 1977) and James Bond didn’t drive a DB4(it was a DB5) we feel things are close enough to make this a Bandit vs. Bond showdown. Or Coors vs. Martini, if it’s 5 o’clock where you are right now. In any event, you can’t get much different than these two rides, well, other than both share their own (loose) connection to two of the best problem eliminators in movie history.

So watch along as Colin digs in to arrive at a value for both cars and shares them with us- and the owners. Will they think he’s too low or too high? Do you? Sound off in the comments section!

Colin Comer knows cars. And Colin Comer knows how much your car is worth! Join him as he appraises cars for owners who have (perhaps foolishly!) agreed to let him dig into their prized collector cars and do what he does best: find their true value AND put a number on it.

In this episode, Colin’s appraising a freshly built barn find 1970 Ford F100 pickup truck and an original-owner 1988 Lamborghini LM002 aka the “Rambo Lambo.” The F100 is a full resto-mod build with a brand new 5.0 Coyote engine swapped into it yet no money was wasted on nice shiny paint here, folks, so you can leave your wax at home. The LM002 has been with the original owner since new and as he puts it, was a value proposition at the time as it was the “same price as a Countach. Twice the dead cows. Twice the doors and two transmissions.” Has time been kind to this Lambo twofer? Colin knows what these are both worth and now you will as well. Will the owners think he’s too low or too high? Do you? Sound off in the comments section!
